First, to become a member of SPA, you must fill out an Application. You will be vetted through a Credentialing process.
Secondly, the timeline for being accepted into various health plans is determined by the payors and will be 30-90 days after the final SPA board approval.
All SPA members pay an annual membership fee. The membership year is from January through December. The membership fee is as follows:
- Single payment of $950.00 if paid by January 20th.
- Four quarterly payments of $300.00 each ($1200.00 for the year), due by the 20th of the first month of each quarter.
The membership fee for new members who become active with SPA during the year is prorated based on the membership effective date. A membership invoice is included in the "welcome" packet that you will receive from SPA.
Late payments are subject to a penalty fee.
Payment can be made by check, MasterCard, or VISA. For your convenience, you may also pay via our online bill pay system.
